We are looking for a talented Senior Client Engineer who will be primarily responsible for leading a team of engineers in developing and delivering stand-alone game client features on multiple platforms including PC, Mac, and mobile platforms.

This position is located at our Denver studio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers on a game to meet all established goals and requirements
  • Work with production staff and other leads to establish engineering tasks and subsequent schedule requirements
  • Review and approve all completed engineering tasks in collaboration with the production staff and other leads
  • Serve as an active partner in the team’s leadership
  • Build and optimize game logic and infrastructure in both new game components as well as existing systems
  • Develop user-facing features including complex UI’s and animation systems
  • Create common game modules to be used across several games
  • Help define scope and dev costing for features
  • Mentor and develop other software engineers
  • Provide critical analysis of programming and development practices with the goal of improving quality and team efficiency and fostering a positive working environment
 Required Qualities
  • Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Engineer
  • Leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to balance personnel management and programming tasks
  • Self-motivated and self-directing, knowledgeable about and willing to pitch in on many areas of development
  • Extensive user interface implementation experience
  • Experience with Unity3d Game Engine and C#

Client Engineer

Gameplay Engineer

The Operations Engineer is the “fixer” of the Ops Team and is expected to take on any of the varied tasks that Operations is called upon to perform. The ideal candidate would love gaming and the support of a seamless online experience for players, understand the nuances of hardware operation and optimization, take charge of continuing build automation improvements, and seek out new ways to reduce service downtime.

This position is located at our Denver studio. Must be willing to relocate.

  • Build Chef cookbooks for deploying services to cloud environments
  • Support server maintenance and deployment.
  • Support client maintenance and deployment.
  • Configure and maintain automated build processes.
  • Create, configure, and maintain virtual instances in a variety of public and private cloud environments.
