The very last open slot for the 2021 Eternal World Championship is up for grabs in the Cold Hunt LCQ Invitational!

On Saturday, January 22nd at 11:00 AM MST (18:00 UTC) a group of 24 talented Eternal players will compete to secure their place at February’s World Championship event! Everyone playing in this event qualified by placing in the Top 16 at two or more of our Open Tournaments this season, so the competition is sure to be fierce!

You can watch the entire event live on Twitch with broadcast and commentary provided by the incredible team at Tuesday Night Eternal!

The Stream will be live at 11:00 AM MST (18:00 UTC), and Eternal Designer Andrew Baeckstrom will be joining the TNE team for commentary!

Tournament Information

  • The event will begin Saturday, January 22nd at 11:00 AM MST (18:00 UTC) and will use the Throne format.
  • Qualified players must be online and ready to play when the event begins.
  • The event will begin with five Swiss style rounds consisting of best-of-three matches.
  • After the Swiss rounds, the players with the top 8 records will advance to a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three matches, using the same Throne decks from the Swiss rounds.
  • To ensure a fair playing field, competitors’ decklists will be sent to all players via email before the event begins.

If you are one of the 24 players competing in this event, please monitor the email associated with your Eternal account for additional information leading up to the event.

  • Prizes will be delivered upon conclusion of the Finals. All packs are from Cold Hunt.
  • The winner of this event will receive an invitation to the World Championship event being held Feb 12-13

Participating in the Cold Hunt LCQ Invitational is open to qualified players on Steam, iOS, Android, and Xbox. A registered and validated account and email address are required for entry. This can be done through the Options menu in-game. We strongly encourage players to register and validate their email addresses in advance of attempting to enter the tournament.
